First Contact Protocol (FCP) is a story about encountering alien life. It takes place on a monitor vessel that is tasked with ensuring the safety of a large interstellar spaceship called the Dia Modrona.
FCP is a story-driven adventure game. It features various environmental puzzles and a nonlinear story. By interacting with the puzzles and the crew in various ways, you can change the fate of the ship! The crew has different motivations that keep things interesting. You will have to interact with the ship's systems to get to one of the many endings.

Already 2 hours in. It may be one of my favorite 2025 game.
Looks pretty cool! Just out of curiousity, is this built with Super Game Boy enhancements (custom borders, color palettes, etc)?
No, it's designed for Gameboy and Gameboy color but not specifically designed for the super Gameboy. It could play on there but only in the basic way.
Gotcha, thank you for the answer! I imagine specialized things like SGB features are considered pretty niche, but I can't help but wonder about it whenever I see new Game Boy games come out
It's a very cool system but I think it conflicts with gbc to an extent so it works better for a gb game than a gbc game.
