I loved this game even if it took me a bit to figure out how to play the emulator not in my windows tab. The art style was nostalgic and the music was great.  It became part of my 3 scary games video and is second in the line up if you want to check it out.

why do people do 3 games in one video? Is it because the games individually aren't long enough, maybe they are but you just like longer videos, no I think it's because that was the thing a few years back so people are just copying what they saw was successful. I wish we could stop with these and give each game and dev their spot light.

No offense to you I just do these reviews a lot and you see this a lot with little to no actually feedback other then "Oh this game was fun, can you guys go watch my video".

Good job with the video though

please put timestamp too so people could skip straight to the part that involves this game specifically.

Timestamps are in the description of the video. No matter what I do I can't get the chapters to work. As for why I enjoy doing the 3 scary games, its more for me than the viewers. I love playing these games but I hate doing short videos (i also can't do scary to often so I want to get it all done at once for my nerves) because it makes me feel like I have to force myself to speak rather than just letting the conversation happen naturally. And yeah, I do it partially because it was popular but I'm still learning who I am as a creator and I personally love watching 3 scary games so I want to create content that I love to watch. But overall thanks for the criticism, I really enjoy getting it as it helps me better figure out what works and what I could work on.

As for the feedback on the games, I'm definitely working on articulating my thoughts more. I'm still pretty new to YouTube so just learning as I go.

Really good atmosphere. I had fun playing it but it feels too short.

Played the game while  doing cardio.
Fun game, well written.   The character dialogue art was consistent and creepy, except for the young woman at the beginning of the game. This may have been intentional, considering her part in the story. Regardless, she stuck out for better or for worse.  Bill's sprite was the creepiest one, and the most memorable. The  panning pace of the pixel art to bring attention to the details was well done. Foreshadowing art with the critters was *chef's kiss*. good stuff, Ben.

The part where the main character thinks to themselves after an event makes the direction of the game clear, no getting lost.

The character's personalities felt consistent with their notes, which is a big deal, considering that sometimes even AAA game companies fail at this. Dana did well with that.

I'm not a good source of authority (if at all) when it comes to music, but I think that the music did its job establishing the ambience of the game. There were parts of the game where the music changed, greatly highlighting the mystery and creepiness of the game. This deserves praise. Good stuff on Lunchz's part.

The ending, I enjoyed.  The ending stuck in my mind, and was masterfully done, requiring quality art, music, and dialogue to deliver the depth of the final event ; a testament to all talented parties involved.
I think that art's quality is determined by how memorable it is after the game has ended; The ending I'll definitely remember.

Took like 10-20 minutes to finish. And the game is only 0.5 Mb, what an accomplishment.
Well done game, only one play through is enough, 10/10.

Hey! I'm playing from Brazil and mann this is soo fire I really enjoy, the horror here is grateful and the OST is soo good, rly creeps me out, tysm for sharing your art!

I played this yesterday, and I liked it. Very nice art and an interesting storyline. It's like a short story told around a summer campfire... Thanks for the emotions, and keep doing this!

Hey thanks for taking down the listing. I didn't ever release Opossum Country on a cartridge because it's a very short game so that seemed kind of wasteful to me. Instead I have made two other longer horror games and will be publishing a horror pack with Incube8 games.

I will keep that in mind that you can make cartridges though!

Fourth in the line up. I'm a sucker for game boy horror. And having spent a bit of time shuffling pizza from a to b for a living this had a little bit bleed over for me. A simple tight story, which has that weird fiction thing going on.  Definitely a worth while trip. Best played blind though. Good work keep it up.

The atmosphere was great and the pacing was perfect, I think this short length was just right to tell a sharp story. Thanks for sharing!

Nice one!

Short and to the point. I like the atmosphere.

I'm glad i didn't play this game as a child when i had a gameboy. Interesting story and art style but i didn't hat fear while playing so i don't if that was a horror game or not.

Very good game, although the twist was predictable there are a lot of questions left unanswered. For example, do all people in this world have….Would be nice if there was an explanation of the process/more info post credits. Overall, very good game! Bravo to you and the team!

I loved this, the artwork and atmosphere were so well done. I just wish it was longer!

thoroughly enjoyed this. i liked the ending even tho it was emotional for me :]

This was really fun to play! I never had a Gameboy Color(I'm old enough that I had an original Gameboy brick though ๐Ÿ˜‚) but I really loved this style of game play. I also enjoyed the story, the atmosphere, and seeing Roy's "transformation" was so cool.

Excellent GBC horror game! I was really taken by surprise with this one. That ending is so good!

Thank you! :)

Really amazing, honestly the coolest GB horror game I've played. Like other Jelter games, though, I just wish it was longer. If this game was longer and more fleshed out, it would probably be top 5 favorite GB games of all time. I also really appreciate that you make all your games playable on actual hardware!

good game! the pacing felt a bit quick, and I thought the ending came a little too soon, but i enjoyed the concept and the pixel art

cliff hanger

Great game!
